For Immediate Release (June 28, 2024 – Portland, Oregon) – White Stone Productions releases the new single “Thanks and Praises,” performed and producded by award-winning singer / drummer / producer Jubba White, available now on all digital platforms and distributed by Tuff Gong International.

The chorus for “Thanks and Praises” was written with the legendary singer Toots Hibbert of Toots and the Maytals in mind. Toots, who was someone that Jubba White had worked with and to whom was also connected to, through family acquaintance and friends, was scheduled to listen together and discuss a possible collaboration, during Toots and the Maytals 2019 tour of the USA. While this never happened because of schedule conflict, Jubba went on to finish this song as a solo.

Jubba’s  intent was to take a little bit of that energy and feel good vibe of the 1960’s, even up to the 1980’s ska era, merged with a little rockers for this 2024 release.

Ska music will always have a place in pop culture and especially in a time when there’s a need for as much uplifting vibe as possible, let’s give Thanks and Praises.
