The original “Steppah” track with Sharon Marley and Big Youth debuted on February 9th, 2024 and has been on the JMC T25 (Jamaican Music Countdown Chart) for 11 weeks. Sharon’s son Ingemar Prendergast co-wrote the lyrics and the track was produced by Grammy-winning producers Leroy Romans and Nicko Rebel. Recorded in the love frequency of 432 Hz, “Steppah” captivated audiences with its blend of jazz, reggae and love vibrations.

Three-time Grammy® Awardwinning multi platinum artist Maxwell announced earlier this week that Sharon Marley will be hitting the seas with him as a guest performer on his highly anticipated second annual Maxwell’s Urban Hang Suite Cruise, setting sail from Jamaica to Miami February 2025. Additional performance dates will be revealed soon. Meanwhile, Sharon is gearing up to celebrate her mother Rita Marley’s birthday on July 25th and putting the finishing touches on her new album, set for release late fall 2024.
