For Delphine, “Patience” is also a tribute to her work with the late great Jamaican producer and engineer, Barry O’Hare, a dear friend and collaborator who recorded and mixed the track in Ocho Rios, Jamaica. “This song is a way to honor our collaboration. Our studio sessions remain some of my fondest memories. Kindness, calm, and patience were qualities that defined him,” she explains.

The production of the music video is also a personal endeavor for Delphine, who took charge of the editing process to ensure every detail reflected the atmosphere she envisioned. “Although the initial editing was handled by the team, I wanted to make sure that every aspect aligned with the vibe I wanted to convey,” she adds.
