Following the success of his reggae collaboration with Mr. Vegas, award-winning DJ, producer, and radio personality DJ GQ returns with “Fire,” a powerful new collaboration with acclaimed singer and songwriter Yoli Mayor, available on all digital platforms today. “Fire” continues DJ GQ’s evolution as a recording artist as he prepares to release his sophomore EP, Skank Rock Reggae and upcoming releases with Big Mountain and Kevin Lyttle.

“Earlier this year, Yoli came to me with ‘Fire’ and asked if I would produce it,” said DJ GQ. “I’ve been focused on producing my own music lately, so I haven’t been taking on outside production projects. But the moment I heard what she had written, I couldn’t walk away from it. Yoli had already recorded two songs with me, and one of them was originally planned for my upcoming EP, Skank Rock Reggae. But after hearing ‘Fire,’ we both knew this was the record that belonged on Skank Rock Reggae. I felt she captured something everyone can relate to. No matter what they’re facing, the fire inside them is always stronger, and I wanted the production to match the strength and hope already living in her words.”
