The song is written by Bani Fyah & Phitzo Kiganda, two dynamic up and coming Ugandan artists, and produced by Jafo Pon Di Beat.  Ras Phitzo Kiganda, a bonafide reggae vocalist and musician added a wicked urban flava to the song released via Tuff Kruffy Entertainment and distributed by Tuff Gong International.

 

About Bani Fyah:

Banyana Alice, aka Bani Fyah hails from Kabale Uganda East Africa. Bani Fyah is a highly sought after composer, performer, and recording artist. She entered the music business in 2013 as a Disc Jockey playing at various live shows and radio stations across the country.  Bani recorded her first studio album entitled ‘Trust in Jah’ in 2017  which became a regional hit on various media houses. This quickly opened the doors  to  new opportunities, cementing her as a bonafide female reggae recording artist in Uganda.

Bani Fyah has appeared as a DJ and a performer on many stage shows and festivals where she graced the stage alongside world renowned international artists such as Morgan Heritage and others. Some memorable performances and festivals include; Nyege Festival, Camp Reggae, Reggae Bring Back Love, Reggae To Di Bone, The O.S.C.A. (Old School Assembly), Njuba Graffiti Jam, and Reggae Massive.

 

As a recording artiste, Bani Fyah has collaborated on various international projects including Tuff Kruffy Entertainment’s ‘Democracy Riddim’ album produced by the Grammy Award winning producer Michael ‘Hydie’ Hyde, and collaborated on Ancient Astronauts project out of Germany, to mention a few.

 

Bani’s unique musical style is influenced by her early exposure to reggae and traditional cultural sounds of Uganda. Her song writing reflects the real life experiences and situations that surround her on a daily basis..

 

She is co-founder at Njuba village, a community organization aimed at positive transformation through art, music, and fashion where she supports various artists and community members through music and literacy classes.
