Art Richards aka ‘Article Bass’ and ‘Yard Squad,’ is a native of the beautiful nature island of Dominica.  the new single “My Voice” is released  through the Issachar Muzik label and distributed by Tuff Gong International.

He discovered his passion for music when he was ten years of age and continued to develop his love for the Caribbean vibe, as well as other genres, over the next forty years,  He wrote and produced his first popular single, “Away” which was released in 2017,followed by the single,“Sweet Dominica,” which was released in 2021.  These Caribbean melodies became an instant sensations in Dominica and continue to be streamed by many, globally.

Richards is a proficient writer, talented vocalist, and a world-class bass guitarist.  His talent hasled to a myriad of successful collaborations with a cadre of music greats hailing from the beautiful island of Jamaica, as well as the United States. These industry collaborations include backup instrumentals and vocals for Anthony B., Everton Blender and Chuck Fender to name a few.

Richards is a seasoned and passionate lyricist,as most of his lyrics featured in his releases are symbolic of his life experiences and the deepest sentiments of his heart.  He has been in the music industry for more than thirsty years and is the leading vocalist on all his projects and has an ongoing compilation of written originals that are in the pipeline for release.
